Kyle needs a vision for future growth that retains its individual appeal to stay competitive during a period of widespread economic instability.
- We must cultivate small businesses to ensure greater economic diversity in our city, and attract quality, high-paying jobs to the area by keeping property taxes low and offering selected incentives for the right businesses.
- We need to provide adequete police and fire protection for our current level of growth, which includes building a new police station.
- Mass transit alternatives must be a part of our new Master Transportation Plan.
- It is essential we find creative ways to protect our local streams and natural vegetation and create opportunities to save more open spaces.
- The city should be a good steward of our town’s historic buildings.
- Kyle deserves to have a first-rate, centrally located Library that all our citizens can use and be proud.
- We should seek an ACC Satellite Campus or other higher education opportunity for Kyle.
- We must support and encourage our senior citizens and other local groups who perform vital volunteer services for our community.
- The City should seek the input of ALL its residents.
