Ms. Johnson was born and raised in Hays County and graduated from Jack C. Hays High School. She knows the issues currently affecting Kyle and has witnessed the city grow from a small town to a large community of almost 30,000.
She holds a B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design, and is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
Ms. Johnson believes in being an acitive participant in the community, and serves as the chair of the Kyle Parks and Recreation Committee. She is a member of The Friends of the Family Justice Center Honorary Committee, and represents Kyle on the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG). She currently lives in Plum Creek and is a member of the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce, the Old Town Kyle Advocates, and the Kyle Lions Club.
